Last year our founder and CEO Vanita Parti, discovered wellness brand Spritz Wellness and immediately fell in love. This led to us working together and creating the Restore and Relax self-care sets; which include a beautiful yoga pillow from Spritz Wellness and a product of your choice from our nourish range. We had no idea at the time how popular (they frequently sell-out) and just what a special and much needed treat they would be for everyone, especially during such difficult times. We had a quick chat with Laura, the founder of Spritz Wellness to discover more about the pillows and her top tips for taking some me-time.

What is an aromatherapy eye pillow?
The Spritz Wellness Aromatherapy Eye Pillow can be used to block out the light in Yoga, Meditation, Massage and Relaxation. It’s also great for soothing tired eyes and deepening relaxation before sleep.
The removable outer cover is washable and made from delicate Liberty ultra-fine Tana Lawn cotton which is a soft yet durable Liberty Art fabric. It is a beautiful cotton fabric that behaves like a silk, so feels lovely on the eyes. I love using the Blink Hydrating Rore Water Gel with the Aromatherapy Eye Pillow to soothe my tired eyes.
Eye Pillows can also be used as a cold compress. Place the Eye Pillow in the freezer in a sealed plastic bag to chill, 30-60 minutes before use. It can also be warmed in the microwave for 20 seconds to help soothe tired eye.
Why should I try it?
The Spritz Wellness Aromatherapy Eye Pillows are filled with dried lavender and chamomile to promote calm and relaxation. They are gently weighted with buckwheat hull and linseed to allow the pillow to contour to the eyes and forehead. The gentle pressure on the eyes helps calm the parasympathetic nervous system triggering a calming effect on the body and mind.
You have 15 mins of me-time – what’s your go-to?
Find a quiet place, lay on my back, drape my eye pillow over my eyes and focus on my breath. I find counting my breath is great way to slow down the mind and the quickest way to come to the present moment.
I inhale for a count of 4 and then exhale for a count of 4. It’s a great way to re-focus and gain a fresh perspective when life becomes too much.
What’s the most important self-care tip you’ve learnt?
Having a dedicated yoga practice. Taking time daily to breathe space into my body and mind.
Also, nothings beats getting a good night’s sleep and staying hydrated!
