Zendaya: One Week, Two Very Different Looks

One Week. Two Looks. The 2mm Detail Everyone Missed.

Zendaya has proven that sticking to the same makeup routine can completely change how your features are seen. Could you be overlooking the small shift that changes everything?

This past week, Zendaya stepped onto two red carpets - The Drama and Euphoria Season 3 - and delivered two completely different versions of the same face.

At the Euphoria premiere:

  • The brow tail is extended.
  • The arch is held higher.
  • The finish is controlled, almost directional.

At The Drama premiere:

  • The tail is shorter
  • The front is diffused, not built up.
  • The shade & texture is lighter

Same person, but a completely different energy. You can see the difference instantly, but it’s hard to explain why. And that’s exactly where it gets interesting.

Here’s exactly how to recreate both looks - and more importantly, when to choose each.

Recreating Zendaya's The Drama Premiere Look

Soft, blended, considered.

STEP 1: SKIN

  1. Keep it dewy. Apply our Rose Gel Cooling Gel to plump & brighten skin
  2. Focus on strategic coverage - under the brow bone for a hydrating lift & glow.
  3. Lightly add a soft blush (cream > powder) to the apple of your cheeks for a more youthful look, or on your cheekbone for a more sculpted definition.

STEP 2: BROWS

Most people either overfill or underdo brows for this look. The balance is here:

  1. Define only where needed, using our Ultimate Arch Definer to fill gaps only.
Not the whole brow. Not the front.
  2. Blend as you go using the attached kabuki brush blender. Nothing should look freshly drawn.
  3. Soften the finish by setting with Clear Brow Gloss for light control that sets for all day wear.

STEP 3: LASHES

The key to this softer look is to be aware that heavy mascara can quickly change the intention of this look. You want separation, lift and definition, without the weight.

  1. Apply our Lash Lift Tubing Mascara, but focus on applying to the ends for the best effect.
    One to two coats max.
  2. Add a swipe of Brow Highlight (our universal multi-use product) to the corners of your eyes
and just below the brow line for immediate lift & impact.

Why a Tubing Mascara works best here:

It wraps each lash individually with no clumping or heaviness - just clean, separated lashes.

Recreating Zendaya's Euphoria S3 Premiere Look

This is the look that makes everything feel sculpted. More deliberate. Elevated. Not heavier, just more precise.

The mistake people make here is thinking this is about adding more product, but it isn’t. It’s about direction, placement, and hold.

STEP 1: SKIN

  1. Avoid heaviness e.g. matte-finish, and instead for a lighter, skin-like look
Remember: this look is about creating dimension, not a mask.

STEP 2: BROWS

Lift, extend, hold. This is where the look is won or lost:

  1. Extend the tail with our Ultra Slim Brow Definer by taking the tail just beyond your natural endpoint. Not dramatically, but precisely.

  2. Reinforce your brow shape by lightly lining your brow line, blending using the spoolie. Then pull this through to your arch, accentuating the highest point of your brow. This is what creates that lifted effect.

  3. Lock direction by swiping the Clear Brow Lock styling jelly upwards and diagonally outwards for that dramatic lift, similar to Zendaya's

STEP 3: LASHES

This look can handle more impact, but it still needs to stay clean.

  1. Create depth and a soft, smokey definition using our Kajal Lash Liner along both the upper and lower inner lash line, then use the blending brush to diffuse the colour, working upwards and outwards to subtly lift the eye.

  2. Apply our Blink & Go Press On Cluster Lashes on the outer end of your lash line to continue this 'elongated' theme.

It’s not about being “full glam”. It’s about being strategic with structure.

The 2mm Difference That Changed Everything

What’s interesting is how small the shift really is.

Between both looks, the biggest difference (and most likely most unnatural to you) comes down to the very end of the brow - the tail.

Slightly extended in one. Softened in the other. It’s subtle. But it’s doing all the work.

Because that final few millimetres are what either:

  • lift the face and sharpen the overall look
  • or soften it, making everything feel more effortless

This is where most routines fall short.

When brows feel:

  • a little flat
  • slightly heavy
  • or like they’re pulling the face inward

…it’s rarely about needing more product.

It’s about placement.

And once you understand how to adjust that, even slightly, you can control whether your entire look feels more defined, or more undone.
