Every season, the four major fashion weeks offer up a veritable feast of brow inspiration.
Some looks are pretty OTT, the kind of weird and wonderful creations that we’ve come to expect from the catwalks. But sometimes the world’s backstage make-up artists conjure up trends that are actually pretty wearable – the kind you could imagine trying out for yourself without the risk of raising a few... (ahem) eyebrows.
So, which of the SS22 catwalk eyebrow trends would actually translate into the real world? Below you’ll find the four brow looks we think are set to define the upcoming season as well as the eyebrow products you need to recreate them.

As the trend for ultra-shiny skin shows no sign of slowing down, this season, eyebrows also received the full-gloss treatment. At David Koma, the models’ brows looked practically glazed in a high-shine sheen, making them look exceptionally nourished and healthy.
NAKED BROWS: As seen at Supriya Lele, Simone Rocha and Paul and Joe

The antithesis of the ultra-dense, ultra-thick eyebrow trend that’s reigned in recent years, many backstage make-up artists sent product-less brows down the catwalk. There’s no denying a brow’s face-framing power, but sometimes it’s nice to give the natural hairs their time to shine.
Try: BBBLondon Nourishing Brow Oil. This handy rollerball contains a combination of organic almond oil, sandalwood, lavender and rosemary to ensure your natural brows are as strong and healthy as possible.
UPSTANDING BROWS: As seen at Malan Breton, Khaite and Prabal Gurung

Just as the brow lamination trend proves, there’s something so fresh and youthful about a brushed up brow. But this season took brows to new extremes, with hairs brushed and set completely vertical.
RUFFLED BROWS: As seen at Jonathan Simkhai and Duncan

If you’re someone who carries around a mirror for the sole purpose of checking their brows multiple times a day, we have good news! For SS22, tidy brows are overrated. As the models at both Jonathan Simkhai and Duncan proved, there’s beauty to be found in a ruffled-up brow.
Try: BBBLondon Ultra Slim Brow Definer to fill in sparse gaps before using the handy spoolie brush to comb brows upwards and then downwards, creating that ruffled texture.
