Founder Vanita Parti first fell in love with threading as a teen: on a family trip to India in the 80’s, her mother took her to a salon in Delhi to get her brows ‘dealt’ with. Now 55, Parti set up Blink Brow Bar in her 30s to bring this technique into the mainstream in the UK. Today it’s available at her bars in London and Manchester, and you can find many more salons up and down the country that utilise threading.
You may already have a favourite brow pencil, but there are some excellent new versions on the market. For its 20th anniversary Blink Brow Bar has created a special Eyebrow Pencil (£22, bbb-london.com) in collaboration with the British designer Priya Ahluwalia.
