A brow shape typically lasts between 3-4 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth cycle.

Most Blink Brow Bar customers choose to refresh their results around every 4 weeks to keep their shape fully defined.

We've found that with more regular threading, it's easier to keep a more consistent shape over time.

As threading precisely removes hair from the follicle, the removal can be described as a 'pinching sensation', with mild discomfort, as opposed to 'painful'.

Like any hair removal practice, threading can cause discomfort, depending on pain tolerance and thickness of hairs removed.

The technique of threading is to use a precise hair removal technique that uses just a piece of twisted cotton thread to remove hair from the follicle.

Waxing involves chemicals and heat to remove hairs. This is done by using a honey-like substance, and applying paper or fabric strips, and pulling it off in quick motions to remove the hair. It can also come as 'hard wax', where the hot liquid dries and is pulled off hard, as opposed to using strips of fabric or paper.

Threading is often the preferred hair removal choice for sensitive skin due to no harmful or irritating chemicals involved.

To keep your brows looking full and cleanly defined, we recommend a brow shape every 3-4 weeks, however, this does depend on the length of your natural hair growth cycle.

To ensure the best results from your treatment, we recommend avoiding exfoliation of the brow/eye area in the hour before your appointment and to arrive with enough hair for your brow therapist to work with.

After your appointment we'd recommend avoiding any skin exfoliation or using strong active skincare ingredients for at least 24hrs post-treatment to allow the skin to settle and avoid any irritation.

Unlike waxing, the process of threading doesn't involve removing layers of your skin, often making it the hair removal treatment of choice for retinol/AHA/BHA users.

To keep your skin happy post-treatment, we recommend avoiding strong skincare actives for at least 24hrs after.

No, threading itself won't make your brows thinner over time. Brow thinning typically comes as a result when hairs are removed from the same area repeatedly.
